Junior Chef- Maths in the Kitchen!

This week we were delighted to welcome Junior Chef into our school to show us all about the maths that is involved in preparing food. From measuring the amount of ingredients we need to the amount of time our banana pie needed in the oven, we would have been lost without our maths knowledge on this day. Our chef also quizzed the children about profit margins if they were going to be selling the food on as a business. Just another example of how maths really is everywhere in the world around us.
