We are pleased to announce that we have now registered to become a School of Sanctuary.
Over the next twelve months, we will be gathering evidence to show that we are a welcoming and inclusive school who are willing to learn, embed and share information about Sanctuary seeking.
We will aim to demonstrate that:
- St Albert’s is a place of welcome for all
- St Albert’s educates our pupils about why people are forcibly displaced and how this has an impact on their lives
- St Albert’s recognises that the UK is enriched by the arrival of global neighbours and we embrace pupils from all backgrounds to feel seen, supported and included
