Forest School

069Forest School is an innovative programme offering children and young people exciting opportunities to try new and exciting challenges in a local woodland environment.

With a proven track record in raising attainment; improving behaviour, attendance and self esteem; enabling pupils to develop social skills, confidence and their ability to handle risk, the Forest School programme provides an inspirational pathway to learning in a natural environment.

All children from Reception class to Year 6 will have the opportunity to go to Forest School for set sessions throughout the year.  These sessions will be lead by Mrs Harrison, Mr Young and Mrs Westhead – all of whom are fully qualified Forest School specialists.
