Welcome to Year 6
Class Teacher: Mr Shelton
Teaching Assistant: Miss Carty and Miss Williams
Welcome to our Year 6 class page
During Year 6 at St Albert’s, children will take part in a variety of exciting activities that will not only allow them to create wonderful memories but also help them continue on their educational journey.
This year, we’ll delve into some historical conflicts including World War II and Viking invasions. We’ll explore the different biomes of the world as well as trekking deep inside volcanic chambers. We’ll even go on a real adventure to our country’s capital to take in all the sights that London has to offer.
Throughout the year we’ll immerse ourselves in a range of fantastic books. We will follow the trials of Morrigan Crow in ‘Nevermoor’, hear the heart-breaking story of Cam in ‘Pig Heart Boy’ and adventure across the ocean telling tales with a brave group of individuals in ‘A Story Like The Wind’.
This page will be home to a variety of important class information and updates as well as links to useful resources to help support your child’s learning. Please feel free to speak with us about any questions you may have. Our door is always open in Year 6!
