Remembrance Day
This week we have talked about Remembrance Day and why people wear poppies. We watched a short clip on Cbeebies and explained how people wear poppies to remember those that died in the war. We created our own poppies and added them to our Remembrance display. We also talked about other important jobs in the war such as the RAF and the Navy. We looked at their uniforms and the children enjoyed dressing up. We talked about how they keep us safe. During collective worship, we gathered around our display and held a minute silence to remember all of the people who died in the war. We were extremely proud of the children and they have been very respectful and thoughtful, well done everybody!

Meet our chicks
Our EYFS children have been learning about living and growing. They were lucky enough to experience chicks hatching and are continuing to watch them grow and develop.
