Liverpool Counts Quality Mark
What is the Liverpool Counts Quality Mark?
This year, St Albert’s is working towards the Liverpool Counts Quality Mark. Our aim is to raise the profile of and celebrate maths throughout the school. To do this we need everyone to be involved: children, teachers, parents, dinner staff, governors, cleaners and even visitors!
We are going to be ensuring that everyone around our school community is positive about maths and we will also be demonstrating how numeracy is essential for life.
What can you do as a parent?
- Always be positive about maths! Here at St Albert’s we believe everyone can do well in the subject
- Point out to your child how maths is everywhere in the world around us
- Attend the numerous events that we have planned to celebrate maths throughout the year

World Book Day
St Albert’s World Book Day!
What a fantastic day we have had celebrating World Book Day 2018! The children have really impressed us with their creative and imaginative outfits of their favourite character from a book. In class, we have all focused on a book from our chosen author, David Walliams. All children have taken home a World Book Day book voucher to use on a book of their choice.

St Albert’s Snow Day!
It’s snowing!!!
The Beast from the East stormed into Stockbridge Village this week. This was the first time that many of the children have experienced snow so they wrapped up warm and ventured outside to play. The children quickly realised that a Winter Wonderland can be very cold, so after 15 minutes of snowballs, snow angels and snowmen they quickly returned to the warmth. What a wonderful experience!
