Reception – Lent
The Reception children have been learning about how they can help others during Lent. We are taking part in Cafod’s ‘turn little fish into big fish’ project and the children have helped raise money for those less fortunate.

Reception – Growing
Reception have been learning about Lent through their ‘Growing’ topic in RE. We have talked about Spring as a time when things start to grow. The children enjoyed planting and learning about how we can care for living things. We then talked about how Lent is a time for us to grow in love. The children wrote their own prayers asking God to help them to be more like Jesus and love one another.
