Exciting times ahead…
At long last, we are now ready to begin developing the Nursery playground. It has been a long time in the planning but will be well worth the wait. As you can see from the artist’s impression the whole playground is being revamped and it is quite impressive.
There will be areas to develop physical skills, water and sand areas, creative areas, a performing area and a bike track amongst many other things.At St Albert’s, outdoor learning has always been given a high priority as we recognise the benefits and joys being outside can bring.
We are hoping that redevelopments will be completed before Christmas but, unfortunately, it will result in some disruption. It will take 3 weeks to complete and during that time Nursery children and parents will not be able to access the playground. Alternative arrangements for outdoor learning and access will be made and we will let you know these shortly when everything is confirmed.
Needless to say, we are very excited.
